Summary

	The Imperial Department of Military Research (IDMR) was a research department of the Galactic Empire responsible for the research and development of military technology such as equipment, small arms, facility components, and armed starships. Moff Rebus, General Rom Mohc Mohc, Rom (Human) Character Supporting Characters , Grand Moff Wilhuff Tarkin Wilhuff Tarkin (Human) Character Major Characters , and Grand Admiral Demetrius Zaarin all had strong ties to the department. Its major starship production included the first Death Star Starship Space Stations , second Death Star 2 Starship Space Stations and third Death Stars, as well as the prototype, the Eye of Palpatine, the Galaxy Gun, the HVs-2 hypervelocity gun that was designed and produced in cooperation with Taim & Bak Taim & Bak Organization Manufacturers , the orbital nightcloak, the Sun Crusher, the World Devastators World Devastator Starship Starship Models , and the Worldcraft.
